# Trader Competition

#### For Traders

Traders are the heartbeat of Banana — they create the movement, the competition, and the energy that drives the platform.

Banana rewards that activity directly through a **monthly leaderboard** and ongoing trading incentives. ***15% of all platform revenue*** will be used to reward traders via the competition.

#### Leaderboards

Every month, traders compete for a share of the **Trading Competition Pool**, based on their total trading volume.

**Example payout structure:**

| **Rank**  | **% of Pool** |
| --------- | ------------- |
| 1st       | 35%           |
| 2nd       | 25%           |
| 3rd       | 15%           |
| 4th       | 10%           |
| 5th       | 5%            |
| 6th–10th  | 2% each       |
| 11th–20th | 1% each       |

Rewards scale automatically with overall platform performance — the more traders compete, the larger the pool becomes.
